TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please carefully review the Terms and Conditions in our booking procedure and our Policies before making a booking as by agreeing to our Terms, Conditions and Policies you are accepting everything in them.

Our Contract binds you, (the person named on the booking confirmation) and all members of your party, including children and any day visitors.

You will be responsible for any loss or damage caused by you, any member of your party or animal accompanying you.

If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not continue with your booking.

Accommodation
This refers to your own Tent, Touring Caravan, Motorhome or Campervan.
Permitted arrival/departure time
Arrival:
12pm - 7pm
Depart by:
11am
Please note: arrivals for bookings made on same day must be by 7pm.
If you are making your booking after 7pm, please arrive no earlier than 12pm the next day.

Your Booking
Identity of who is making the booking and staying in the property
You agree:

that you are one of the Guests staying in your Accommodation and you are over 18 years of age. Your Identity will be verified prior to acceptance of your booking.

that you are not booking on behalf of a third party. If someone other than you wish to book and you are not staying yourself then they must book the accommodation themselves. Their Identity will be verified prior to booking.

You will be asked to submit your Name, Address, email and mobile phone number at the time of booking.

Making your booking:
You agree:

Upon completion of the Booking form and paying the full payment we will send you a Booking Confirmation. This information is important because it (along with your booking confirmation email, and any pre contractual information provided before you book) sets out the legal terms on which we offer our services. At this point a binding contract, incorporating these Terms, will come into existence.

We reserve the right to refuse a booking at any time but will of course treat everyone equally and fairly.

We will notify you on receipt of your payment, by email

Cheques, Cash, AMEX and bank transfers are not accepted forms of payment

Payment is made via Stripe which supports adaptive pricing in the currency from up to 40 countries
-
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians

No hen/stag parties permitted
-
Single-sex bookings of 6 or more people (couples and immediate family members excepted) are not permitted

Check-In Information

Once you have paid and received your booking confirmation details we will send you further check-in information up to 7 days prior to your arrival.

For bookings received on the same day of arrival, check in information will be sent as soon as possible once your Pitch has been allocated. 7pm is the latest arrival time.

Cancellation of your Booking

You can cancel your booking at any time up to 7 days prior to arrival, by logging into your account. Your refund will be paid into your account within 5 working days.

There are no refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures
-
Within 7 days prior to arrival in the event of death or serious illness of anyone in your booking party or their immediate family members, refunds can only be issued on presentation of supporting evidence. We define 'immediate family' as spouse/registered partner, co-habiting partner, children, parents, parents-in-law, siblings, siblings-in-law, grandparents and grandparents-in-law

We strongly advise that you take out comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations. If you choose not to, then you accept responsibility for any loss that you may incur due to your cancellation.

If we must cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you promptly and refund all payments made. Cancellation will be limited to payments made to us

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable

In the event of a complaint, please speak to Alison immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site

Please note that the toilet/shower facilities are unisex
-
Quiet hours must be respected between 10 pm and 6 am
-
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly
-
You must keep the site generally and Pitch area clean and tidy and leave them in the same condition as when you arrived
-
You and your party must not use fireworks or Chinese lanterns at your Pitch.

Flying of drones at the Accommodation or on site is not permitted
-
Smoking/vaping is only permitted on your own Pitch. Please pickup and dispose of any cigarette butt litter.

The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered
Transport
Motorbike(s) can be brought instead of the car(s) included

Pitches

A cable measuring at least 12 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups
-
You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent/unit and related equipment – within the mown-out area. Extra space is available if you cannot fit your vehicle onto the pitch as well as your accommodation.

Safety

Barbecues using charcoal or gas are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times. Disposable Barbeques can only be safely disposed of when cooled down – please use the bricks available.

Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit
-
Open fires are prohibited

Vehicles

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site

Minimal vehicle movement between 10pm and 6am
-
Only one vehicle is to be parked on the pitch. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area

Visitors
You must request permission for any Visitors and they can arrive from 11am and must leave the premises by 10 pm. Email info@woodpecker.co.uk
Pricing
For the most up to date and valid pricing information, please check our website. We will confirm the price of your Accommodation at the time you make your booking and in your booking confirmation email.

Special Requests
Special requests must be requested at the point of booking and no later than seven days prior to travel. Whilst we will do our best to accommodate you, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to meet any request.

Data Protection
We will process your data provided as part of this activity in order to communicate with you about your booking and from time to time to ask for feedback, which will enable us to improve your future experience with us. If required by law or any applicable local authority we may collect personal data relating to each member of your party. Please see our Privacy Policy for more information.
Complaints
Any problem or complaint must be immediately reported directly to Alison to allow us the opportunity to resolve it. Complaints that are not brought to the management’s attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site. Please email info@woodpecker.co.uk
